Rainbow heART Chain ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿงก❤️

I must tell you that any bow is pleasing to the heart. So, of course, making this rainbow heart decoration was really wonderful for me. This fun little project came about as a result of a heART event I did with my students a few years ago. For this activity, students were given strips of white paper, asked to indicate both sides of the color/decoration, and attached to a heart chain in the hallway.

This time I decided to do something myself... but it could definitely be done with students. In addition to being a fun extracurricular activity, you can also turn it into a color lesson by having students arrange their paper lists in a rainbow pattern.
Pacon Tru-Ray Sulphite construction paper was used for this project.
I used the following colors: yellow, gold, orange, holiday red, holiday red, purple, violet, purple, blue, brown, holiday green ึ‡ bright lime green.

So how do you do all these cool things? Simple! First, cut out some strips of paper (I cut out 1" x 9" strips), fold them in half, and start sewing. Watch the video below for a demonstration.

Relax now ึ‡ enjoy the perfection of the rainbow.

Of course, I tried other arrangements as well.
