Digital learning can definitely be a challenge in learning art!
Since you're not sure what material your students will have at home, it's best to keep it simple!
In this blog post, I will give you some ideas that can make your job easier!
Imagine that you have just written your autobiography (a book about your life). Draw an illustration to show what your book cover will look like. Think about your book's target audience. What do you want them to know about you?
packaging designer
Sugar Sweets Cereal has created a new cereal with crispy chips and zebra-shaped marshmallows. Once you've designed it, draw a diagram showing the front and back of the cereal box. Be sure to consider the target audience (to whom the grain will be traded and sold) and their visual tastes. Don't forget to include the company name and grain name!

Your school is having a fall harvest dance party! Your task is to find out what it is and achieve it. Make sure you design something that shows the theme, dance name, date and time, ticket prices, and any other necessary information! Your architect has been selected to design plans for a new elementary school! Draw a map showing where everything will be in the school. Don't forget the gym, cafe, media center, reception, restrooms and classrooms!

You have been assigned to design a new city park! City dwellers love to run and exercise! Draw your garden plan from a bird's eye view (from above). Will your yard include a walkway, basketball court, baseball field, forest, or pond?
Barber
Your task is to design uniforms for 3 different sports teams (you can choose the sport). Make sure you include everything players need to bring. What will the shirt look like? What colors will you use to make the three teams different? Does the uniform require special shoes?
IT animation
Dreamworks Studios needed animators to create scenes from their new film Animals. Your task is to come up with a description showing two animals escaping from the city zoo and heading for the city. what did you say? What does the background setting look like? What else can you do on stage?
video game designer
Bring a new video game idea. What is the game about? What will the player try to do or achieve? What do the settings look like? What will the characters be like? Make some graphs showing your ideas. Don't forget to explain the purpose of the game!
product designer
You are in charge of designing new robot games! The toy company wants the robot to look like an animal (you can choose which one) and be able to do something useful for the owner (e.g., charge a cell phone, send an email, etc.). Draw your design and write a descriptive paragraph explaining what the robot will do.
art teacher
You have a bottle of ink, drawing paper, scissors, and glue. You don't have a brush because you've exhausted your entire art budget. Generate three different project ideas to do with your students using this toolkit. Draw what the final artwork will look like and write step-by-step instructions for at least one project.
photographer
Congratulations on your appointment as the new photojournalist for the local newspaper! They have a few stories they are working on and you have to spin them to follow the articles. Draw what a good picture would look like for each story.
1. The police have a new dog.
2. The city just had a spring parade on Main Street.
3. The mayor just got married!
beautician
A monster movie is shooting in the city and the film company needs a makeup artist to design what the monster will look like. Think of two different ideas about what the monster's face looks like.

He wrote the screenplay for a third-rate show called Bears in the Circus. what do you see in the background? What props are needed on stage? When you're done, develop a scenario for a fifth grade show called Betsy Goes to School.

You are the owner of a new tattoo studio and only have a few clients. Draw each one of them:

Think about the age group you are targeting, the flavors you can offer, the cost, etc. Your ad will likely need a spokesperson/mascot (similar to Trix Bunny or Tony the Tiger).

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go (real or imaginary)? Create a travel brochure that will help promote your website as a great place to travel. Why do people want to go there? What can you do there? What will you see? Make sure you include a photo and a well-written description!

Draw a detailed picture showing your new invention and a written description telling potential customers what your invention does and why they need it! HOW... Create a series of step-by-step instructions that detail how to do something (how to cook, how to do homework, etc.). After you finish writing the instructions, draw a picture next to them to illustrate them.

Big! You've found a new animal and the city zoo wants to add it to its collection! Draw animals in their natural habitat and write descriptions of your animals that can be included in their new exhibit at the zoo!

Imagine you just won the lottery and now you can design the house of your dreams! What will it look like from the outside? What is the scale of the planet like? Did you design a space for your parents to come and live with you? Draw some pictures detailing your design plans and write a descriptive paragraph telling the reader about your dream home!
