We invite you and all lovers of wisdom and nature to visit the Eighth. modern in nature Interpreting the Natural World is an art exhibition in Melbourne organized by members of the Victorian Society for Contemporary Art . This is part of the 2014 Herring Island Summer Arts Festival starting next Saturday!
Join us for a drink at the opening of our art exhibition. Saturday, February 22, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. , at Herring Island Gallery . If you can't make it to the opening, our show is open every weekend through Labor Day, Monday, March 10 . We'd love to see you and we're sure you'll enjoy the show. This year ! Open gallery 11 30 30 30 4 4 4 30 30. Notes Arrivals on the island are a short drive south of Como airport via the Victoria Punt service (gallery opening hours). Natural Modern 2014 Sculptures and artifacts in metal, metal and precious stones, multi-page acrylic and oil paintings, multi-media paintings and prints, photography and mixed media all interpret aspects of nature in different ways. Animal, plant or mineral, land or sea, storm or calm, day or night, light or shadow, eyes, emotions, imagination. Come and have fun....
More.... Herring Island is located 3 km from the city in the middle of the Yara River. Herring Island Park is a paradise for nature and art lovers. The exhibition will take place in the gallery on the island. There are many permanent statues made from natural materials that reflect the serenity of the island. Getting to Herring Island Park Victoria Pint is a service from Como Landing (Melway Reef Map 58, G2) from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Batting payments: $2 per person or $5 per family, free for retirees, unemployed and children under 12 years old. You can park on Alexandra Street.
In this exhibition, established and newcomer artists explore aspects of nature through a variety of artistic mediums. Each day of exhibition in the gallery will be "on call" by another artist in the exhibition. This is a good opportunity for you to ask about his art and the motivation behind it.
