Line-Up Dot Spots

Children shout: “Art teacher! He beat me!”
Me: "Why did you pay?"
The other is about to yell more politely, "Because I'm number 7! She was where I was!"
And the children scream: "Noah ahh!!"
Let's be real people. We get everything. once more. Kindergarten. flexible. employment.
While I usually use moments like this as an opportunity to teach students some manners (like apologizing rather than pushing someone away), wouldn't it be great if that didn't happen at all?
What if we could call our students to line up and immediately know where to line up to arrange?
Points of contact are coming. Best class management idea I've seen in a long time! Special thanks to @2art.chambers and mrsdow_artroom for great inspiration!
To make these beautiful floor lamps, I used a lot of colored vinyl that I found on Amazon (of course). And to make it even better... It's Prime! 💕 **Update: Vinyl is no longer available since I wrote this post. It turns out that this vinyl might be a good alternative (even if I haven't personally tried it).
So, 2 days after placing the order, I received a package of 30 sheets of vinyl in a variety of colors (including 3 sheets of black, 2 glossy and 1 matte).
My original plan was to cut out the circles myself, but then my mom suggested I use the Cricut I just bought . I must say that I love Cricut. It saved me so much haircut time and on top of that, all the haircuts are absolutely perfect (which is great for the perfect ones like me)!
I cut out (okay, cut out the Cricut) 26 circles 8 inches in diameter, a star to mark the line (which I forgot at home today), then a number for each point.
To install floor projectors in my classroom, I started by spraying the floor with rubbing alcohol (to remove oil or residue). Then I took off each circle of his skin and slowly lowered him to the ground. To reduce air bubbles, I used the rubber clay more smoothly to gradually flatten the vinyl. When dots don't work, I put numbers on top. The numbers were probably the most frustrating part of the whole project. It was difficult to align two-digit numbers with each other and in the middle of the dot.
Guys, I can't wait for my kids to arrive tomorrow! My plan now is to have my students find their number and then memorize it. I thought it would help prolong the life of my stitches. 😊
