And we had a wonderful time for our inauguration, a hot, cloudy day from morning to evening. Few people have died, the roads between the slides are confusing, but the goal is to restore the coastal vegetation that everyone deserves.
We had a small crowd at the opening ceremony, led by Stonington Council Advisor John Chandler, but since then, there have been visitors all day, many of whom did not realize it was the first day the island opened this wine.
The sculpture was admired, the festival started, and everyone had a wonderful time ... now to enjoy the rest of the festival - come to the island with us - there is something to see.
