Launching the 2011 Festival

Friday was a tough preparation - but we were lucky - the flood, it was so devastating elsewhere, it made it a little fun while we were working in the rain to finish the job - Parks Victoria Dave Ryan did a good job. Facilitating the ship at high speed Architects assisted by transporting the work to the exhibition and setting up a reconnaissance team to prevent flooding while the work was being carried out. Remember we are not ready to take a photo - we still have work to do. However, the show was well-organized, and the weather remained calm throughout the night.
It was a good Saturday - no rain, no heat and we had great admiration from the guests at the grand opening.
Nigel Caswell speaks to us - developed by Valda Kumming on "A Creature from the Deep".
ASV President Jeff Williams presented our editorial - Nigel Caswell - former President of Park Victoria. Council members and visitors to other art groups along the river performed during the festival.
And after all this we either relaxed or walked around the island and admired the show - it was a great start and thank you all for it was a great show.
Relax after opening
