The Chairman and Committee of the Victorian Society of Contemporary Art invites you to join us at the opening of our ninth annual A4 Art Australia exhibition on Saturday, March 5, from 12:00 to 14:00 at the Herring Island Gallery in Melbourne . Our gallery celebrates the diversity of contemporary art created by artists from all over Australia. More than 200 artists have contributed to the colorful, charming and creative display of more than 600 works of art in our gallery. Everything is for sale! Everything or the perfect gift for every home.
If you can't make it to the opening, there are many ways to attend, as the show runs from 7 a.m. to April 18 (see list of dates below).

The gallery will be officially opened by Robert Lee , President of the Victorian Society for Contemporary Art . The exhibition is supported by Parks Victoria.
• The exhibition will feature more than 600 original works and sculptures in A4 format, covering almost all imaginable and various media, including acrylic, watercolor, bronze, charcoal, collage, crayons, digital printing, enamel, etching, quache created in the means. and graphite. , ink, linocut, mixed technique, oil pastel, pastel, ballpoint pen, pencil, photography, resin, canvas and watercolor!

• This exhibition is part of the Goering Island Summer Art Festival .
• Herring Island Exhibition opening hours : weekdays only from 11:30 to 16:30 (dates above).
• Herring Island is actually an island - located in the middle of the Yara River! You can only enter here by boat or barge. Take advantage of the free Parks Victoria Punt service from Como Landing, Alexandra Street, South Yarra (next to Melway Ref 2MC2 - Kanteen Café). During the exhibition, the site is open from 11.00 to 17.00.
• All works of art on display at A4 Art Australia 2021 will be on display at the CAS Site Gallery during and after the exhibition. You can order and pay for your work through our web gallery (if not for sale / not available).
